Mac Benson is a producer, composer and DJ from Cumbria, UK.

Following the release of his self-produced EP Coming of Age in 2019 and subsequent singles, Mac Benson continues to produce songs for other artists and compose music for film. His latest work, for Stuart Armstrong's BAFTA-qualifying and BFI-backed short Meat Raffle, was broadcast on Film4 and streams on Channel 4 online.

Other recent work includes production on Newcastle-based indie riser Melanie Baker's 2019 EP, Burnout Baby (released on Daemon T.V.).

In 2025, Mac began work as a DJ, playing in venues across Cumbria, making his festival debut on Soundwave's Roots Stage at Kendal Calling.
